TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Trustees of the above Charity wish it to be known that they are willing to consider financial help by way of a Grant to any Church, Club, Society or similar organisation operating within the Great Torrington Parish boundary.

Under instructions from the Charity Commissioners NO application can be considered from any Sporting Club unless any Grant awarded will be used exclusively for the benefit of the young or otherwise disadvantaged persons.

The Trustees must draw your attention to the fact that grants are allocated according to the funds available to the Trust at the time of consideration and are not guaranteed to be awarded in part or in total each year. You are therefore advised not to rely on this grant as a definite part of your budget for future years.

Please note the Trustees have moved away from granting monies for everyday running costs and you are more likely, in future, to receive a grant if it is for a project.

The Trustees will only accept completed Grant Applications made on this original form. However, if you wish to continue on a separate sheet to give more details, then please feel free to do so.

The Trustees may request to see latest audited accounts, Bank/Building Society statements or other accounts information.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will be informed as to whether your Grant Application has been successful or not. If your Grant Application is successful, then the Charity will request Bank details in order that grant monies can be paid via electronic payment.

When grant monies are received, the Trustees require an acknowledgement via email/letter in order to conform with the requirements of the Trustees Auditors.

Data Protection: The information that you give us on this form will not be used for any purpose other than helping the Trustees and staff to consider and process your application. The personal data supplied on this form together with other information will be held securely in the Great Torrington Town & Lands Charity office. Some details will be checked with relevant organisations since the Trustees reserves the right to investigate and verify what you write in this form. No details will be disclosed for any inappropriate purpose. You may have access to your personal information on request.
